Short-eared Owls Superior Township

    This evening 4 Short-eared Owls put on a show at Vreeland and Gotfredson Rds in Superior Township. Although the activity didn't start until right after sunset, I was able to capture some images with my camera's ISO settings ranging from 2000-8000.  

  Comet ISON Update...it's dead again, this time forever.  I tried to warn about the spread of misinformation concerning the comet and ended up declaring it dead, revived and dead (but so did NASA).

Three little kittens that lost their pride

 Experiments with the cat-herding chicken are coming along nicely.  Hopefully the chicken will stick around for the Christmas Bird Count.
