At Dingell Park in Ecorse this afternoon there were 29 Bald Eagles on and around Mud Island. Unlike previous visits to the park the eagles were on the south side of the island.

This morning there was adult male White-winged Scoter inside the compound at the power plant in Erie.
Excuses for poor images include dim early morning lighting, water vapor rising up from the warm water and camera operator error. As I usually do, I shot in aperture priority but I still had the lens stopped down to f/29 from a couple of days earlier. The small aperture resulted in way too slow shutter speed and I was lucky I got any photo whatsoever.
